PopCapGuy was a player on Picabocraft and the only player to be banned from the server. He was brought to the server by Menzatwork2000 in early 2014. In addition, PopCapGuy was one of the last players to get a Creative Plot.
Griefing Incident[]
PopCapGuy was an avid user of the Creative Plots. Due to an increased interest combined with an overall downsizing on the server, the button to change your gamemode to creative was added back to the plots.
On February 17th, 2014, a massive hole was discovered where the Spawn and the Help Room used to be. TNT had obviously been used, because the bedrock path to the Survival Map, command blocks, and some diamond had survived. In addition, the remnants of Kwahu1's Hotel were completely covered in lava and further destroyed, and the word "FUCK" was written in sponge blocks in the sky above Chicken's Food Store.
What remained of the Spawn after the incident
MattWalmart was the first to discover the state of the town, but he was soon joined by Hyperonyx and Dinky McGoogle. MattWalmart had been the last of these player on the server, and it had been several hours since then. During these hours, only two players joined the server: Seandiamo for about one minute, and PopCapGuy.
PopCapGuy could not be reached for comment, so a mock trail was held in the partially damaged Courthouse. The court found that PopCapGuy was the only player that could have done the crime, as the damage was too extensive to be accomplished in the short time that Seandiamo was online. PopCapGuy was then banned from the server.
Aftermath[]
The button to switch to creative mode was removed and the Creative Plots became functionally useless. At first, only a small path was made to reach Picabocraft Town. Soon, a new Spawn was built with new features. The grass was also filled in. Kwahu1 built a small shack where his Hotel used to be.
The hole remains underneath Picabocraft Town. It is now known as the Picabocraft Catacombs, and is the Picabocraft Historical Society's Marker #2. Players can explore the tunnels by entering next to the Warp Building.
Menzatwork2000 still believes that PopCapGuy did not do the crime, and PopCapGuy maintains his innocence. After Picabocraft switched server providers, the banned players list was reset. DDDragoni (J) spotted PopCapGuy online once. He did not do any damage and never returned.
